A Deciding major from Clinton, MD, Devonte Williams, selected to the D3football.com All-East Region Third Team

After being named to the All-Middle Atlantic Conference first team this season, Devonte Williams, a Deciding major from Clinton, MD, was selected to the D3football.com All-East Region Third Team. This marks the first postseason selections by the organization in the football program's four-year history.

Tennessee was the starting cornerback for all 11 games this season, ranking third on the team with 64 tackles. He led the team and ranked third in the MAC with nine passes defended. His impressive defensive skills allowed him to be ranked seventh in the nation and second in the conference with three blocked kicks.

Williams ranked second in the MAC and fourth nationally in kick returns, with an average of 33.4 yards per return. He ranked third in the nation with two kickoff returns for touchdowns.

The Stevenson football team finished the season with a school-best 8-3 record and won the ECAC Southeast Bowl, their first postseason win in program history.
