Ashley Manning, From Brooklyn Park, MD Volunteered With Project Homeless Connect

Stevenson University Psychology major and Student United Way member, Ashley Manning participated in a volunteer opportunity with Project Homeless Connect at United Way of Central Maryland.

Together, U + United Way made a difference, connecting approximately 2,100 local adults and families, including 400 children, experiencing homelessness with the services they need to get back on their feet.

More than 700 people received dental care and more than 450 received vision services. This year's event was the largest in Baltimore to date, with more services available than ever before.
