Baltimore, MD resident Edward Bennett, is Voted as a Founder's Day Talent Show Winner

October 24, 2016: Stevenson University Business Communication major Edward Bennett, was named one of the three top-placing acts at the 2016 Founder's Day Talent Show.

Founder's Day is a day full of events and activities for students as a way to honor those who founded Stevenson, which was previously known as Villa Julie College, in 1947. Some of the daily events such as free breakfast for students, an afternoon tea with the president, and the much anticipated talent show.

This year's talent show consisted of many great acts, and had a great number of attendees. While all acts presented inspiring and entertaining acts there can only be one winner, and two runner ups.

First Place winner was senior Eddie Bennett, who blew the crowd away with his original spoken word piece.

Second place was granted to Matt Nichauls, for his original song with a piano accompaniment.

Voted into third place was the dance group "Lit Flamingos", consisting of four students.
