Brett Olin, From Cherryhill, NJ, Helps Team Achieve First Place at Shannon Henretty Memorial Twilight Meet

October 20, 2015: Stevenson University men's cross country runner Brett Olin, ran in the first ever Shannon Henretty Twilight Memorial, where the Mustangs placed first overall. After the meet took place, there was a one mile walk/run to honor Shannon Henretty. Shannon was a Stevenson nursing graduate of 2014, who passed away at the age of 23. The walk benefited the Shannon Henretty '14 Scholarship Fund, which honors a nursing major with financial needs and embodies Shannon's passion to serve others.
Freshman Jackson Morrow lead the Mustangs to victory. Morrow placed second overall, with a 4k time of 13:01.33 Freshmen Langston Gash and Sam Mercoli, finished in third and fifth place with times of 13:18.33 and 13:34.33.
Senior Tom Ferguson placed sixth, finishing in 13:46.21; while freshman Brett Olin placed tenth, with a time of 13:59.67. Freshmen Anthony Mercoli and Logan Gibbs, completed the race with times of 14:04.58 and 14:09.14.
The Mustangs completed the meet with a combined score of 25, coming in seven points above their competitor McDaniel.
