Bryson Barksdale, From Waldorf, MD, Spent Their Fall Break Volunteering in the Community

2016 Dec 6

Stevenson University student Bryson Barksdale, participated in volunteer work alongside fellow M.I.L.E club members. The Male Initiative Leadership and Excellence (M.I.L.E), spent the weekend of their fall break volunteering with Second Chance and the Sixth Branch.

The members of M.I.L.E helped clean up and improve an athletic field in Baltimore with Sixth Branch and aided those at Second Chance in disassembling and sorting wood in their warehouse.

Eddie Bennett said "Both experiences helped me realize that volunteering is much bigger than any individual, but the duties that we performed together effected so many people in a positive way."

President of M.I.L.E, Nigel Read, said "I feel that with both of these events, I had the opportunity to make a difference in the Baltimore region."

Congratulations Bryson!
