Caitlyn Darosa, From Madison, CT, is Recognized by the CHC

Stevenson University women's ice hockey player and Nursing major Caitlyn Darosa, is one of two students recognized by the Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) after an outstanding week for the Mustangs.

Junior Chelsea Blackburn, was named the CHC player of the week, marking her fourth player of the week honor since the program's start last season. During a win over Post, Blackburn achieved a program record with five goals and seven points. It was also during this game that she achieved her 50th career goal, and her fourth hat trick. During the Mustang's match against Lebanon Valley, Blackburn scored a power-play goal, and added on yet another hat trick, to make it a career total of five.

Sophomore Caitie Darosa, was named to the honor roll by the CHC. She achieved a 1-1-0 record during the Mustang's two games in a single week. Darosa completed the week with five saves, achieving her 32nd save, reaching a new weekly high in her career. She averages 1.05 goals and a .949 save percentage per game.
