Casey Schankweiler of Hummelstown, is one of 15 Players Named to National Academic Squad

March 22, 2016: Stevenson University women's field hockey player Casey Schankweiler is one of 15 team members to be named to the 2015 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad. The Mustangs are now tied for the most selections for a single season in the team's history.

In order to recieve this honor, the student-athlete must have had a cumlative GPA iof at least 3.30 during the first semester of 2014-2015 year. Stevenson was one of 16 Middle Atlantic Conference Teams selected to this honor, and ranked third in the most player honorees. Senior Meg Gill is a four-time honoree, while junior teammates Blair Bitner and Holli Eppley have recieved this honor three times.
