Chelsea Blackburn of Westland, MI, Receives Second Colonial Hockey Weekly Honor Roll

November 16, 2015: Stevenson University sophomore, and women's ice hockey player, Chelsea Blackburn was named to the Colonial Hockey Conference weekly honor roll for the second straight week. Blackburn is one of four women's ice hockey players to receive a weekly honor this season. After totaling four points consisting of one assist and three goals, in a single game, Blackburn was selected for the weekly honor.

Aside from her excellent performance in the win over Johnson & Wales, Blackburn has won 19 out of 30 face-offs, and recorded a plus-three rating. She leads Division III with nine goals, after totaling 11 points in the past five games played. Blackburn is also tied for second in the division with two shorthanded goals, and holds ninth place with an average of 1.83 points per game.
