Deneen Watson from Silver Spring, MD earns Stevenson University Fashion Design Program Award

Deneen Watson, a sophomore Fashion Design major from Silver Spring, MD, was awarded the first Stevenson University Fashion Design Program Award. Her winning costume in the ManneqART competition earned her this award. Her winning design will be displayed in the ManneqART 2015 calendar. On Sunday, Sept. 28, the award was presented to Deneen.

ManneqART is an art competition that occurs internationally. Participants enter the contest with their hair, makeup, costuming and digital art design. According to the contest's official website, the program's mission is to "inspire creativity and reward excellence in the field of Wearable Art."
