Devonte Williams, From Clinton, MD, Breaks School Record

Deciding major Devonte Williams is one of the Stevenson University track and field team members to set a new school record at the River Hawks Opener, hosted by Susquehanna.

The men's relay 4x200 team: Tylor Bailey, Devonte Williams, Jeremy Middlebrooks, and Matt Riggins, made a new mark in school history with a combined time of 1:30.86. Williams was named MAC Track Athlete of The Week after his impressive performance.

Curtis McInnnis also set a new record in the weight throw, with a distance of 13 meters.

For the women's team, Danika Ani brought home two school records in throwing events, completing the weight toss with a distance of 13.40 meters, and a distance of 12.63 meters in the shot put event.

Chloe Almeida set a new record for the triple jump, coming in first with a distance of 9.82 meters.

The 4x200 relay team of Kimberly Hammond, Cierra Roberts, Dyonne Hicks, and Chalisse Locksley set new record with a time of 1:49.57. The 4x400 relay team of CJ Morris, Achol Odolla, and Mary Kate White, also set a mark in Mustang history, completing the race with a time of 4:25.55.

Hicks and Roberts set individual records in the 400m dash and the 200m dash, with respective times of 9.77, and 27.18.
