Devonte Williams, From Clinton, MD, Heads to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships

Devonte Williams is one of three Stevenson University indoor track and field team members to attend the NCAA Division III Championships. The event will be hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.

Danika Ani, who was named Rookie Athlete of the Year, placed second in the shotput event during the MAC Championship. She currently heads into the NCAA Championships in 11th place for shot put.

Devonte Williams, a two-time outdoor national performer, will be competing in both the 60 meter and 200 meter races. After running these events at the MAC indoor championship and setting record in both, he was named Middle Atlantic Conference Trrack Athlete of the Year.

Cierra Roberts, qualified for the long jump after placing second overall in this event during the ECAC Championship.

These three are the first Stevenson indoor track and field members to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
