Devonte Williams of Clinton, MD named to the ECAC Division III South All-Star Second Team.

Stevenson University sophomores, Austin Tennessee and Devonte Williams were recently named to the ECAC Division III South All-Star Second Team for football. Both students were named to the honors of All-East Region Third Team and All-Middle Atlantic Conference First Team this past season prior to being named to the most recent honor. Being named to the ECAC South All-Star Second Team marks the duo's second postseason selection. Williams and his fellow teammate both proved excellence on the field, however each excelled differently throughout the season.

Tennessee led his team and ranked third overall in the MAC with nine passes defended, as well as ranked third on the team with sixty-four total tackles. He also achieved seventh in the nation, and second in the conference, with three blocked kicks.

Williams was ranked fourth in the nation and second in the MAC with an average of 33.4 yards per kick return. He also had two kickoff returns for touchdowns during this past season, resulting in a ranking of third in the nation.

These players not only displayed individual success, but helped lead the Mustangs to a school-best season record of 8-3.
