Devonte Williams of Clinton, sets new school record at Millersville Metrics

Devonte Williams, along with a fellow teammate, sets new school records at the Millersville Metrics, hosted by Millersville University at Biemesderfer Stadium. Led by Devonte Williams and Daniel Miller, the Mustangs finished 18th overall out of 29 teams with 20 total points.

Winning the 200-meter dash, Williams finished the race in 21.64 seconds, a school-record time. He also won the 400 meters with a time of 49.98 seconds. Williams has qualified for the 2014 ECAC Divison III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 100, 200 and 400-meter dash.

His teammate, Miller, competed in the shot and had a school record throw of 13.53 meters in the preliminaries to qualify for the finals. His performance qualified him for the 2014 MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
