Dominic Dominic of Ambler, is Named to a Weekly Honor

March 30, 2016: Deciding major Dominic DeFazio is one of the two Stevenson University men's lacrosse players to be named to weekly honors. Sophomore Dominic DeFazio was named both MAC Commonwealth Defensive player of the week and United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/Lids Defensive Player of the Week. Senior Stephen Banick was honored as the MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week.

DeFazio currently leads the team in caused turnovers with 17, and in ground balls with 29. During the week of hs nominations, DeFazio caused 12 ground balls and seven caused turnovers in two games.

Banick completed the 2-0 week for the Mustangs with three goals and six assists. Thus far into the season, he ranks third in goal scoring, but leads the team with 26 points consisting of 13 goals and 13 assists.
