Emilee Thursby of New Castle, DE Selected to be SGA Sophomore Class Representative for the 2014-2015 School Year

Stevenson University would like to recognize Emilee Thursby for being selected as the SGA Sophomore Class Representative for the upcoming school year.

A Middle School Education major, Emilee has demonstrated leadership and dedication to Stevenson University through her involvement with the annual Relay for Life fundraising event as well as other on-campus activities and events.

As class representative, Emilee will be responsible for attending weekly Executive Board meetings and leading the SGA Sophomore Class Council in meetings and various activities. She will also assist in determining yearly club budgets and will represent the SGA for campus events.

All students of the SGA Executive Board were chosen to represent the student body after meeting all of the following requirements:

• Submitting a letter of recommendation
• Writing a petition supporting candidacy and having 100 students sign it
• Having a minimum GPA of 2.5
