Hanover Township, PA Resident Robert Wingert is Recognized as an All-American

April 18, 2016: Stevenson University men's volleyball player Robert Wingert, is one of the two Mustangs recognized as All-Americans for the first time in the program's history. Senior Rob Wingert earned AVCA second team honors, while junior teammate Nate Ellis is honored as an Honorable Mention.

Wingert was previously named Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) Player of the Year, as well as the 2016 CVC Tournament MVP, and to the CVC All-Conference Team. He finished the season fourth in the nation and first in the conference with 1,112 assists and 10.80 assists per set. Wingert reached a total of 181 digs this season, putting him in fourth place in the league. He also ranks fifth in block assists with 67.

Ellis ranked 14th in the Division III this season with a .403 hitting percentage, and sixth in the nation with 1.12 blocks per set. He was also named to the CVC All-Tournament Team after the team's appearance at the Division III Men's Volleyball Championship..
