Hugh Taylor of Ellicott City, MD inducted into Sigma Tau Delta, International English Honor Society

Interdisciplinary Studies major Hugh Taylor was recently inducted into Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society. Sigma Tau Delta has over 850 active chapters in the United States and abroad. Hugh confers distinction for high achievement in English language and literature, fosters all aspects of the English discipline, promotes exemplary character and good fellowship, exhibits high standards of academic excellence and serves society by fostering literacy.

The criteria to be inducted include having both a high general grade average and high grade average in their English courses. Inductees can either major in English or minor in English.
