Ian Eberly, From Harrisonburg, VA, is Recognized for an Outstanding Seasson

Stevenson University baseball senior Ian Eberly, was named a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American Third Team member. He is the fifth student-athlete at Stevenson to be honored as an All-American. Ian was also selected as a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) All-American Team selection.

In order to be selected as an All-American, a student-athlete must be of at least a sophomore academic standing and play as a varsity sport starter/reserve. The student must also maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale, and be nominated by their athletic director.

For a chance to be a part of the All-Academic squad, an athlete is required to have a GPA of at least 3.20 during their championship season.

Eberly was selected as a MAC Commonwealth First team All-Conference player this season, and earned a GPA of 3.94. In addition to his academic achievements, Eberly batted a .340 with 55 hits, one home run, and 28 RBI's. He led the team in runs with a season total of 38, while also compiling a total of eight stolen bases.
