Kristen Brooks from Wilmington, DE earns All-Commonwealth Conference honors

Helping the women's volleyball team achieve its third season unbeaten in the Commonwealth Conference was Kristen Brooks from Wilmington, DE. Brooks was one of the five players that earned All-Commonwealth Conference honors.

Overall, the Mustangs have had 17 all-conference selections in their three seasons in the conference along with having all three Player of the Year selections. Also, they have had two Rookie of the Year selections.

The five players selected include:

  • Samantha Perillo (first team): Senior libero earns her fourth-straight all-conference honor and third first-team honor. She was also named Player of the Year by the leagues coaches. This season, Perillo became the first player in school history to surpass 2,000 career digs and leads the conference with 675 digs and 5.92 digs per set. She also leads the team and ranks seventh in the conference with 50 service aces.
  • Megan Miller (first team): Senior middle hitter earns her third-straight all-conference honor and second first-team honor. Miller ranks third on the team with 234 kills and leads the team with a .263 hitting percentage, which also ranks fourth in the conference, and 51 total blocks, which ranks ninth in the conference.
  • Kristen Brooks (second team): Sophomore outside hitter earns her first all-conference honor, finishing second on the team and tenth in the conference with 265 kills. Brooks ranks second on the team with 276 digs and is tied for fifth with 24 total blocks.
  • Annika Schwartz (second team): Freshman outside hitter led the team this season with 286 kills, which ranked ninth in the conference. Schwartz ranks fourth on the team with 248 digs.
  • Sara Bollinger (second team): Sophomore setter earns her first postseason honor, finishing her first season as the starting setter. Bollinger totaled 1,018 assists, ranking fourth all-time in Stevenson history and fourth in the conference. She also ranked third on the team with 256 digs, and she totaled a career-high 52 assists, which ranks tied for sixth in program history.
