Lindsay Beyer from Jarrettsville, MD earns Dell Scholarship for Character and Excellence in the Sciences

Lindsay Beyer from Jarrettsville, MD, an Applied Math major, received the Dell Scholarship for Character and Excellence. This scholarship is awarded to those who possess a strong work ethic, demonstrate concepts to solve scientific problems, achieve academic excellence, appreciate cultural diversity, and commit themselves to personal growth.

This scholarship was established by Samuel M. Dell III, Stevenson Trustee, and his late wife Geraldine Dell. Dell holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Cornell University. His career was spent working in the petroleum industry for Exxon Corporation and its global affiliates.
