Mike Datu, From Gaithersburg, MD Earns MAC Weekly Honor

Mike Datu is one of the three Stevenson University football players to be selected to a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) weekly honor within the past couple weeks.

Austin Tennessee, a senior, was selected as the MAC Defensive Player of the Week, following the Mustang's 45-21 win over Widener University. This is his second time being named this season, placing second on the team in tackles with 32, and has also tallied three interceptions and three pass breakups.

Junior Preston Addo, was also named to a weekly honor after the win over Widener. After returning a 66 yard punt for a touchdown, and three punt returns totaling 74 yards, Addo was selected as the Special Teams Player of the Week. He is currently in second on the team with 23 receptions, including seven touchdown grabs.

Mike Datu, a junior linebacker, was named MAC Defensive Player of the Week following a Mustang win over Delaware Valley. During the 19-0 victory, Datu had seven solo tackles, nine total, including a pass breakup and a forced fumble. He has totaled 32 tackles in the season thus far.
