Congratulations to Mike Datu from Hagerstown, MD, a member of the Stevenson University 2014 Football team. Under Ed Hottle, the first head coach in program history, the team finished the season 8-3, the best record yet in the four-year football program history.

The Mustangs had a phenomenal season, scoring a total of 245 points with an average of 24.5 points per game. The team finished the 2014 season with a school record of eight wins, equaling the amount of wins that the team had over its first three seasons combined. They also posted a 4-1 record at home and finished the year on a three-game winning streak.

Entering the post-season for the first time in program history, the team won the ECAC Southeast Bowl Championship which was played at Mustang Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014. The team posted a 29-7 victory as the defense forced seven punts and three turnovers. Trey Lee, who was named the Most Outstanding Player (MOP), scored three touchdowns and rushed for 174 yards.
