Owings Mills Resident Sara Tarbert Helps Team Win ECAC Championship

March 6, 2016: Stevenson University women's basketball player and Nursing major Sara Tarbert helped her team achieve the title of ECAC Champions. The Mustangs went up against Washington & Jefferson in the ECAC South Championship game, beating them 73-70.

Seniors Caitlin Roy and Stephanie Martinez along with Junior Sara Tarbert, all achieved double figures during the game. Roy posted 12 points, Martinez had 14 points, and Tarbert whom was named Most Outstanding Player had 16 points and 13 rebounds during the championship.

The Mustangs finished the game with a 51.9 shooting percentage from the floor, holding Washington & Jefferson to a percent of only 35.7.
