Robert Wingert, a Business Administration major from Hanover Township, PA, appointed to the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

Robert Wingert, a Business Administration major from Hanover Township, PA was recently appointed as a member of the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). The men's volleyball player is the SAAC Vice President and NCAA SAAC Representative.

According to the NCAA official website, SAAC is a committee created by the NCAA made up of student-athletes whom "provide insight on the student-athlete experience." The four purposes of SAAC include:

• Generate a student-athlete voice within the institution
• Generate a student-athlete voice within the conference
• Review and respond to proposed NCAA legislation
• Support the campus and conference community through community outreach efforts, with a primary focus on the NCAA Division III and Special Olympics partnership
