Samantha Perillo, a Business Communication major from Wilmington, DE, selected to the AVCA Division III All-America team as Honorable Mentions

Samantha Perillo from Wilmington, DE along with two of her fellow Women's Volleyball teammates were selected to the AVCA Division III All-America Team as Honorable Mentions. Below are the names of those selected and her respective accomplishments:

  • Samantha Perillo: This season marks the third-straight season Perillo has been named an All-American. She led the Commonwealth Conference with 782 digs, ranking 12th in all of Division III with 6.11 digs per set. She led the team with 54 service aces and 128 sets played. This season, Perillo was named Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week twice and ECAC Libero of the Week twice. She also earned MVP honors at the Commonwealth Conference Tournament and was named to the All-Tournament team at the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship Newport News Regional, the Haverford Invitational and the Wid Guisler Invitational.
  • Megan Miller: This is Miller's first postseason honors. She was the all-time program leader with a .298 hitting percentage and totaled 269 kills and a .250 hitting percentage, which ranks 10th all-time. She led the team with 58 total blocks, which ranked fourth in the conference. Miller was ranked third on the team with 2.26 kills per set and 119 sets played. She is an All-Commonwealth Conference First Team selection, AVCA Mid-Atlantic Region First Team selection, and a Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week.
  • Annika Schwartz: Schwartz is the first freshman in program history to be named All-American, earning her first postseason honor. This season, she led the team with 332 kills, finishing second in the conference; this ranks eighth all-time in a single season in program history. She ranked third on the team with 296 digs and fourth with 116 sets played. Schwartz is a Commonwealth Conference Rookie of the Year, AVCA Mid-Atlantic Region First Team selection, an All-Commonwealth Conference Second Team selection and was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Haverford Invitational.

In the 17-year history of the program, there have been nine All-American selections, all of which came in the last four seasons. For the fourth-straight season in a row, Stevenson posted 30 wins and advanced to the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship.
