Samantha Perillo, a Business Communications major from Wilmington, DE, totals 2,000th career dig and is named Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week. In the game against St. Mary's, Perillo totaled 44 digs to help bring the Mustangs to 9-1.

Perillo averaged 24.7 digs per match in the three previous matches, and she is the school's career digs leader with a current total of 2,028. Her efforts rank her sixth all-time with 166 service aces. She is also a two-time All-American and two-time first team all-conference honoree.
