Sara Bollinger of Westminster, MD is Recognized for an Outstanding Season

Stevenson University Women's Volleyball player, Sara Bollinger is one of three players honored for her outstanding performance this season after winning the MAC Commonwealth Championship.

Sophomore Annika Schwartz was selected as MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week after being named Most Valuable Player of the MAC Commonwealth Championship. Schwartz set the school record with 32 kills during the Championship game against Messiah. Her 32 kills also set the single-match high in a four-set Division III game this season. Schwartz was also selected by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as a Honorable Mention All-America and First Team All-Region Honors, for the second time in her career. She completed 423 kills during the season, ranking third in the conference. Schwartz recorded 380 digs throughout the season, leading to her being named to the All-MAC Commonwealth First Team for the second time.

Sophomore Deanna Bradbury has been named by the AVCA as a Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth selection, after being named MAC Player of the Week . She lead the Mustangs in digs with a total of 628, which leads the conference and ranks among the top 50 nationally. Bradbury also ranks sixth in the league with a total of 47 service aids. She set her career-high in digs with 42, coming only 6 digs shy of the program record.

Junior Sara Bollinger is named as All-MAC Commonwealth Honorable Mention, earning her second--straight all-conference honor. Bollinger holds third place in the league with 1,024 assists. She also recorded 273 digs, 51 service aces, and 50 kills this season. Bollinger reached her career-best in blocks with a total of 25.
