Sara Tarbert, From Delta, PA is Named MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week.

December 7, 2015: Stevenson University junior, and women's basketball player, Sara Tarbert has been selected as Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Player of the Week. This is Tarbert's first selection as Player of the Week this season, which marks the third MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week award of her career.

Tarbert was named to this honor after averaging 25.5 points and 14 rebounds in a single week. She began her outstanding week during the game against Messiah, where she scored 17 points and snatched eight rebounds. It was also during the game at Messiah that Tarbert reached her 1,000th career point. In the game versus Lycoming, Tarbert achieved a personal record, but fell one point short of breaking the school record, in points in a single game with a total of 34. She also achieved 20 rebounds against Lycoming.

Tarbert currently leads the Mustangs with both a scoring average of 20.2 points and a rebound average 10.7 per game. She leads the MAC Commonwealth in scoring and holds third place for rebounds and field goal percentage (59.1%).
