Shannon Wilson of Phenix City, AL Selected as a Member of the Student Advisory Council of the Maryland Higher Education Commission

Congratulations to Shannon Wilson a Class of 2014 Visual Communications Design major for representing Stevenson University as a member of the Student Advisory Council of the Maryland Higher Education Commission.

The Student Advisory Council (SAC) to the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) was created in 1988 in response to a legislative directive. The purpose of the Student Advisory Council is to advise the Maryland Higher Education Commission on the concerns, perspectives, and experiences of the students attending Maryland institutions. The mission of the Student Advisory Council is to ensure a student voice is provided to the Maryland Higher Education Commission on the issues in Maryland higher education.
