Stevenson University Student Colin Dabney from Kensington, MD is Selected as a 2015 USILA All-American

The Stevenson University men's lacrosse team reached the nation-high number of players selected for the 2015 USILA All-America Team. Colin Dabney is one of the nine Mustangs honored as an All-American. Stevenson has led the nation in the number of Division III All-American picks for five, out of seven, years with a total of 67 players chosen since 2008.

After being named Commonwealth Conference Defensive Player of the year, senior Callum Robinson was named to the first team which marks his third straight year being selected as an All-American. He ranks 23rd in the division with 52 caused turnovers, and led the team with 91 ground balls and 52 turnovers.

Junior Stephen Banick also acquired his third All-America Team title, and was selected to the third team. He led the team with 63 points this season, as well as held the team high total of assists with 33. Banick is ranked sixth in school history with a career total of 198 points, fifth with 93 assists, and eighth with 105 goals.

Connor Curro, a senior, earned his third All-America selection as a third team pick for the second year in a row. He completed his lacrosse career in third place on the team with 55 ground balls and broke the school-record with a career total of 90 games played.

Senior Josh Rufolo finished this season in second place with 27 caused turnovers and sixth place in ground balls with a total of 45, resulting in his first All-America team selection to the third team.

Billy Burgoyne completed this year's season with his third-straight honorable mention selection after finishing third on the team with 29 goals and sixth place in points with 39. He was ranked sixth overall in school history totaling 111 goals.

Senior Colin Dabney earned an honorable mention selection for the second year in a row. He completed this season in third place with 31 goals, and fourth place with 38 points. During his 42 games played in the past two seasons, Dabney totaled 70 goals and 85 points.

Tony Rossi, a senior, was named as an honorable mention All-American, making this his third All-American selection. He completed his three year career in eighth place in school history, totaling 62 assists. Rossi also ranks tenth in school history with 139 total points.

After completing the 2015 season in second place with 33 goals, 23 assists and 59 points, Pat Candon was picked for the Honorable Mention All-America Team. He stands at seventh place in school history with 63 assists, and in 12th place with 134 points.

Junior Chad Williams was chosen as an honorable mention All-American after finishing the season in third place on the team with 22 caused turnovers and 36 ground balls. He also placed ninth in school history with 59 caused turnovers in only three seasons.
