Stevenson University Student and Women's Golf Team Mamber Alicia Greeneof Jarrettsville, MD Wins the Honor of MAC Champion

Alicia Greene and the Stevenson University women's golf team, have been awarded the honor of Middle Atlantic Conference Champions. During the championship at the Hershey Country Club, the Mustangs took first place by 12 strokes. For the first time in history, the Mustangs are now qualified to participate in the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship

The team was led by freshman Morgan Wirtz, who completed the day with a score of 83. She won first place overall, coming in first by just six strokes over her competitor from Lebanon Valley. Sophomore Emily Haas finished in sixth place overall, with a score of 92, and has earned All-MAC Second Team honor. Junior Alicia Greene, tied for ninth place with a total of 95, also being awarded All-MAC Second Team honor. Sophomore Kelly MacKenzie finished the championship in 17th place with a score of 102. Senior Kate Kotoski shot 105, finishing the event in a tie for 21st place.
