Stevenson University Track and Field Team Member Jessica Rega, From Scituate, MA Helps Mustangs Break Records at Crusader Challenge.

February 6, 2016: Applied Math major Jessica Rega is one of the Stevenson University women's track and field team members to help the Mustangs set four school records at the Crusader Challenge, hosted by Susquehanna.

Freshmen Kayla Bias set an individual school record for the 800m run with an impressive time of 2:31.74, putting her in 15th place overall.

Kelly Winklbauer, a freshman, set a new record for the mile. She crossed the line in 5:33.84, putting her in 13th place overall. Senior Lanie Swanhart also competed in the mile race, setting a personal record of 5:44.28.

The school record for the 4x400 relay race was set by the relay team of Bias, Winklbauer, Swanhart, and Freshman Mary Sam. The team completed the event in 4:31.20, placing tenth overall.

Freshman Meghan Incantalupo beak her own previous school record for the high jump, setting a new record of 1.47 meters.

Senior Monee Hill ran her season best in the 60m dash, placing 12th overall, clocking a time of 8.26 seconds.

In the field events, Ariana Engerman completed in the top 20 for the weight throw with a toss of 11.73 meters. Jess Rega has a shot put throw of 10.81 meters, putting her in eighth place overall.
