Stevenson University Women's Fashion Merchandising major Emily Haas ofAmbler, PA is Named to MAC Academic All-Conference Team

Emily Haas is one of the two Stevenson University women's golf players to be named to the MAC Academic All-Conference Women's Golf Team. Junior Alicia Greene and sophomore Emily Haas, were both named to this honor after completing a successful season. Greene and Haas are two of only ten players to be awarded with this honor. A student-athlete must be a sophomore, or higher, and participate in the season in which they are nominated while maintaining a GPA of at least 3.2 in order to be nominated for the MAC Academic All-Conference Team.

Alicia Greene, a junior, is a biochemistry major. She earned All-MAC Second Team honors after completing the 2015 MAC Championship in ninth place. Greene finished this year's season third on the team with a scoring average of 91.54, and posted nine top-10 finishes in a total of 15 events.

Sophomore Emily Haas is a fashion design major. During the season, Haas won the ELITE 89 for the 2015 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship. She completed this past season second on the team with a scoring average of 91.16. After finishing the 2015 MAC Championship in sixth place, Haas was awarded All-MAC Second Team honors, and won the individual title with a two-day score of 178.
