Tall Timbers, MD Resident Adrianna Kamosa Helps Team Break School Records

November 22, 2015: Stevenson University women's swimmer Adrianna Kamosa, helped her team place eighth overall and break multiple school records, at the Diamond City Invitational. The two-day meet was held at the Wyoming Valley Catholic Youth Center, where the Mustangs took on nine other schools. During day one of the meet the team set three school records, then continued on to set two more in day two.

Freshman Julianna Burnett earned fifth place in the 100-Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:04.27, setting the school record. Burnett also set the record for 50-Yard Freestyle, finishing with a time of 26.26. Burnett took sixth place in the 200-Yard Breaststroke, with a time of 2:37.52.

Freshman Olivia Snyder took ninth place in the 100-Yard Backstroke, and broke the school record for the 500-Yard Freestyle with an impressive time of 5:49.53. Snyder completed the 200-Yard Backstroke in 2:20.02, breaking the school record.

Juniors Elizabeth and Adrianna Kamosa set personal records in the 100-Yard Breaststroke, with times of 1:20.39 and 1:20.64. Elizabeth also set her personal best in the 200-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:57.24.

Freshman Natalie Wasicko completed the 100-Yard Freestyle 28th out of 48 total swimmers, racing a time of 1:01.09.

The 800-Yard Freestyle Relay team of Natalie Wasicko, Snyder, Burnett, and Laurel Kamosa finished the event in seventh place, with a time of 8:50.08. Alison Smith, Snyder, Burnett, and Wasicko completed the 400-Yard Medley Relay in 2:03.04. The 200-Yard Freestyle Realy team of Adrianna Kamosa, Wasicko, Smith, and Burnett brought the Mustangs their fourth top-10 relay win with a time of 1:51.22.
